The Portal respects your privacy and only collects information that is reasonably necessary to communicate with customers, attendees, artists, venues, promoters, and other people who interact with our business. When you contact The Portal through our website, social media accounts, or at one of our events, we may receive information such as your name, email address, phone number, Instagram username, messages, comments, or other information you choose to provide.
We may also receive limited information through platforms such as Instagram and Meta when you interact with our accounts. This may include your username, profile information made available by the platform, comments you leave on our content, and direct messages you send to us.
We use this information primarily to respond to messages and inquiries, keep track of business contacts, manage event-related communication, provide information about upcoming events, and maintain our internal contact management system. If someone specifically chooses to receive event alerts or promotional communication from The Portal, their information may also be used for those purposes.
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for their marketing purposes. Information may be processed by service providers solely to deliver and administer our SMS communications.
SMS Communications and Consent
The Portal, operated by Black Portal Entertainment LLC, offers optional SMS notifications through our business phone number, (855) 814-8354. Customers may voluntarily subscribe to receive event announcements, ticket updates, event reminders, and promotional messages by texting PORTAL to (855) 814-8354 and completing the subscription confirmation process.
Staff members and event collaborators may separately consent to receive operational SMS notifications, including production schedules, event call times, staff meetings, and scheduling changes. Consent may be provided through our website or through a documented verbal opt-in process.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing tickets, receiving services, or participating in events.

We may collect and maintain phone numbers, subscription preferences, consent records, timestamps, and messaging history to administer our SMS programs, provide relevant communications, and honor opt-out requests.
